For the unversed, the Kalki 2898 AD star is said to have purchased the office spaces in Andheri West. The units are situated in Veer Savarkar Signature building, the same location that actors such as Kajol, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan have own commercial spaces in the same building.

At a recent press conference for the film’s promotion, Amitabh confessed he was taken aback with the concept of Kalki 2898 AD. “When Nag Ashwin came and explained his idea to me, for the long time after he left I was thinking, ‘what the hell is Nagi drinking?’” Amitabh said, leaving Rana and his other co-stars in splits.

“To see something like this which is absolutely outrageous, some of the visuals that you have seen are unbelievable. To have somebody conceive a project which is so futuristic and possible… and during the making of the film you realise that no matter what he thought of he actually brought all the material, all the effects, every kind of vision that he had to the screen and that’s been really amazing. For me to be just a part of it, has been an experience I’ll never forget,” he added.

Kalki 2898 AD is set to release on June 27, 2024.
