Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule has been creating a lot of buzz ever since its announcement. Amid the rising anticipation, the makers have finally dropped the film’s first single titled Pushpa Pushpa, leaving fans in a frenzy. On Wednesday, May 1, a lyrical video offering sneak peeks from Pushpa 2, including Allu Arjun’s newly curated dance steps was unveiled. In just a day of its release, the song has already become a sensation across the Internet, drawing a lot of attention from fans and celebrities alike. While Pushpa fans are going crazy on social media, filmmaker Karan Johar also can’t stop praising the track.

Taking to his official Instagram handle, Karan Johar reshared Allu Arjun’s post on his story to express his excitement. “A hurricane REEL storm is going to erupt!" he wrote.

Earlier in 2022, the acclaimed director-producer was left impressed with Allu Arjun’s performance in Pushpa: The Rise. “ALLU ARJUN in #pushpa !!!!! INCREDIBLE!!!! What stardom! What a performance!!!!!!," he tweeted back then.

In the 4-minute-19-second-long video, Allu Arjun is back as the quirky Pushpa Raj, carrying out his swagger style as always. The actor’s shoe drop step and phone step take the song to another level, matching up with the pulsating music and captivating lyrics.

The chants of Pushpa Pushpa seem as if they will be echoed by Allu Arjun fans in the days to come. Written by Naatu Naatu fame Chandrabose, Pushpa Pushpa is sung by Nakash Aziz and Deepak Blue.

The song was teased for the first time in the announcement video, unveiled by the makers. After a lot of wait, it was finally released at 5 PM on Wednesday evening.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule will pick up the events where the first part left off. While Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna will reprise their roles of Pushpa Raj and Srivalli, the sequel will also have Fahadh Faasil in the role of the leading antagonist. Besides them, stars like Jagapathi Babu, Brahmaji, and Anasuya Bharadwaj among others are also expected to be a part of the film.

A special teaser was recently dropped on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday this year. However, fans are still waiting for the full-fledged trailer to be released.
