New Delhi: It's time. One of the most awaited films of this year, 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' starring former lovers, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone releases today. Expectations from the film is high as the people involved with this film have delivered some memorable films in the past.
This is Ranbir's first release after 'Barfi!, which not only did well at the Box Office but also reaffirmed the fact that Ranbir was here to stay. While Deepika's last release was a frothy role in 'Race 2', her performance in 'Cocktail' was much appreciated. The two together form a great looking pair on screen and their crackling chemistry is hard to miss in the promos of this film.
Expectations are also high from the makers of the film, who in the past gave us the beautiful coming of age story called 'Wake Up Sid'. Director Ayan Mukerji's sensitive story of a boy who comes to term with things around him and become a man was lauded by the critics as well as the masses.
So when the same team comes together for a film on love and friendship, one expects nothing but the best. But will it match to all the hype?
