Windshield of 13 cars smashed

The windscreens of 13 cars parked in different parts of the town were found smashed here on Thursday morning. The vehicles were parked at Canthappa Mudaliar Street, Laporte Street, Aravindar Street and Montorsier Street.

Superintendent of Police S Ramaraj said they suspect the involvement of elements who may have been under the influence of alcohol. He did not rule out the possibility of a mentally-ill person being involved. He added that investigations are on and guilty will be punished.
