Uncertainty over admission to IITs

HYDERABAD: Following the Andhra Pradesh High Court's decision to quash 4.5 percent sub-quota to minorities in 27 percent OBC quota,  uncertainty hangs over admission of minority candidates to IITs this year.The IIT-JEE have made all preparations to take up admissions as per the  Centre's decision to provide sub-quota. But now, the Centre's attempt hit a roadblock.For the first time, the JEE officials, this year, announced ranks in minority category too, during release of entrance results. Mohammad Rahman, from our state, secured the first rank in the minority category.
