New Delhi: A gang of 14 men allegedly molested two women and posted a video of the incident on social media in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur district, the police said.
According to the Uttar Pradesh Police, it has not been ascertained when the video was shot as it has been circulating on social media for past few days.
One person was arrested in connection with the molestation case after a video of the incident went viral sparking an outrage, the police said. They said the victim has been provided security.
The incident comes as a fresh embarrassment for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led government which came to power with a big majority on the promise of dealing with law and order issues.
