New Delhi: Having faced a stormy Budget session - in both the Rail Budget and the Union Budget presentations - Parliament is gearing up for another explosive day on Thursday.
The Quattrocchi controversy is likely send the temperatures soaring in the House with the Opposition BJP making another demand for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's resignation.
The issue, has haunted the Government since the day one of the Budget Session on February 23.
Despite Prime Minister's assertion that it has done "nothing wrong" in the case, the Opposition - high on recent victories on Uttarakhand and Punjab - plans to take this up bigtime.
In fact, sources indicate that it's going to be trouble in Parliament from the work go on Thursday and multiple adjournments cannot be ruled out.
The Opposition is angry over announcement regarding Quattrocchi's detention in Argentina and his release on bail two days back.
Both Houses of Parliament were adjourned for two successive days over the Quattrocchi issue.
But the Q gate is not the only worry UPA has up its sleeve. Several MPs from Karnataka are also planning to raise the Cauvery issue in Parliament in a big way.
Tamil Nadu MPs have been strongly opposed to the issue being raised in Parliament.
UPA members are also worried over the possible aggressive posture of the 38-member Samajwadi Party, which has recently withdrawn support from the Congress-led coalition.
