HYDERABAD: A trickster posing as one with magical powers duped a woman of five tola gold ornaments at Maheshwaram on city outskirts on Wednesday.The victim, R Shankaramma, 45, is a resident of Kalvakol village in Maheshwaram. According to police, two days ago a woman selling honey in the locality, came to Shankaramma. The woman managed to grab Shankaramma’s attention and told her that all her problems would be solved by a man with magical powers who would be roaming in the locality with a 10-year-old boy seeking alms. He asked her to put her jewellery in a tiffin box and then put it in a cloth. When Shankaramma opened the box after an hour, she found it empty.
