ALUVA: The Ernakulam Rural Police have nabbed three notorious criminals under Kerala Antisocial Prevention Act (KAPA), said District Police chief Harshita Attaluri.
Vadakkekkara Police arrested Prasad, 27, of Kadavathuruth in Gothuruth for indulging in several criminal activities including attempt to commit culpable homicide. He along with his accomplices inflicted serious injuries to a person and threw him from a bridge with an intention to kill him in 2010, police said. He was nabbed from Gothuruth. John Paul, 24, of Thundathumkadavu who was involved in six cases including attempt to murder was arrested by Varapuzha Police.

Anas, 29, of Kanjirakkad near Perumbavoor was taken into custody for repeatedly committing criminal cases. He was booked four times for the violation of NDPS act. All were remanded in judiacial custody. Rural District Police were on a special drive to nab notorious antisocials. Police would soon nab more miscreants under KAPA, said Harshita Attaluri, SP.
