There is a huge demand for jackfruit chips in foreign countries as well. He sells 8-10 tonnes of jackfruit chips during the season of this fruit. The Chikkamagaluru-based NG Fruits Company has spread its wings to Gujarat, the West Coast Of India. It has created job opportunities for several people by selling jackfruit chips in the state. About 8-10 tonnes of jackfruit chips from NG Fruits Company are sent to Gujarat from April to June. From this, he earns up to Rs 6-8 lakh during the season. When the season is over, 2-3 tonnes of chips are sold.
No compromise on quality

Narendra, who believes in utmost quality, prefers jackfruit from a tree rather than buying it from stores. He selects a quality jackfruit, washes it thoroughly and separates the nut from the seed. He cuts the jackfruit in the shape of chips and washes it again. It is followed by frying the chips in oil and mixing them with salt and spices. He packs the product for export. They also have Salt Chips, Chilli Chips and Masala Chips, apart from the Jackfruit Chips.
