Beijing: Chinese online media was today abuzz with a video of a road accident which showed an agile motorcyclist making a perfect 360 degree somersault like a trained gymnast after crashing into a speeding truck saving himself from fatal injury.
In online forums, people are calling him "Ticao Ge," or a gymnast to describe his "miraculous" body actions matching that of an Olympic gymnast, reported state-run China Daily, which also showed the video.
The video of the accident which took place in June at Wenzhou in East China's Zhejiang province showed that the man in 20s riding a motorbike without a helmet was thrown several meters into the air after he crashed into the vehicle.
To his luck he landed on his legs saving him from any head of body injuries. The video shows the man walking to survey the damage to his bike and dusting himself off seconds after his the crash.
Two passers-by come over and have a short chat with him and then the man leaves the scene without taking his motorbike, before police arrive.
The man has yet to show up and report the accident to the police, the newspaper said.
