The Fast Track Court-II judge Mahendra Prasad convicted Degree Singh, Dhirendra Singh, Munshi Singh, Satyendra Singh, Subedar Singh, Narendra Singh and Ajay Singh after finding them guilty of murdering a man, Md Sultan.
According to the prosecution, the seven had shot dead Sultan in Barki Kharaon village under Sahar police station area on April 25, 1998 following enmity.
The victim's family had lodged a FIR against the seven under the Arms Act and section 302 of the IPC.
