Selected Tourism Man of the Year

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Association of Tourism Trade Organisations, India (ATTOI) selected Kochouseph Chittilappilly, managing director of Veega Land, as the ‘Tourism Man of the Year 2011’.ATTOI secretary Anish Kumar said the award was meant for recognising achievements in the field of tourism. “We have ensured that people with inspiring personalities, with achievements are only chosen for this award”.Chittilappilly, being a visionary in business, his commitment on ensuring quality, had set a trend in business models. “His venture Veega Land still enjoys the position of the best theme park in our country, even many years after it was set up,” he said.The award would be presented by Tourism Minister A P Anil Kumar here on December 15.
