BCCI Secretary said on Wednesday that a final decision on Tendulkar's availability would be taken by May 22.
Mumbai: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Niranjan Shah said on Wednesday that Indian team for the Test series against West Indies would be selected on May 24.
And a final decision on Sachin Tendulkar's availability for the series would be taken by May 22, he added.
Shah said Sachin Tendulkar was not considered for the One-Day series against West Indies due to shoulder injury.
He had undergone an operation at London recently and has now begun his practice sessions.
