Right wing activists target Kashmiri film fest in Hyderabad
A group of alleged ABVP workers arrived at the venue just hours after the event was inaugurated and indulged in vandalism.

Hyderabad: A Kashmiri film fest was targeted allegedly by a group of right wing activists in the city. A group of ABVP workers entered the venue just few hours after the programme started and indulged in vandalism.

Calling the film fest an anti-national event they smashed glass panes and damaged property at Prasad lab. Glass doors were broken at Prasads lab and laptops of organiser lay broken before the police intervened and took a few of the workers into custody.

Organisers of the event titled 'Kashmir- before our eyes' said the attack won't affect the event which they claimed will go on as per schedule.

Meanwhile, world renowned music conductor Zubin Mehta is set to take the stage on Kashmir on Saturday with his Ehsaas-e-Kashmir concert. It will broadcast live in fifty countries and 1,500 people are likely to attend it.
