ALUVA: The Keezhumad Circular Road via Blind School in Aluva, would be given priority while the renovation works were undertaken, said PWD Minister V K Ebrahimkunju here on Sunday. It was a long-standing demand of the people of Keezhumad especially the students and their parents of Blind School to renovate the potholed road. The people of Keezhumad led by Blind School Parent Teacher Association and elected representatives submitted a memorandum to the minister urging him to give necessary instructions to repair the road without delay. The representatives explained the dangers of travelling through the road which was used by hundreds of blind students daily. The minister immediately contacted the departmental engineers and enquired the position of the road. He assured the delegation that priority would be given to the road. The delegation included PTA president K M Nazar, secretary Sunil Francis, P A Shajahan, P A Ahemed Kabeer, K K Abdulla, K M Jaffar and T K Bava.
