CHENNAI: Four more students have been arrested on in connection with the violent clashes in Presidency College on Monday.While Karthik (19), I year, M A Administration, and Vijay (19), III year, History were arrested for attacking and seriously injuring two students of a rival 27H group, police on Tuesday arrested Ashok, Purushottaman, Pandi and Udhayasuriyan, sources said.Students Block TrafficThe movement of traffic was affected temporarily near the Madras High Court, when students of Dr B R Ambedkar Law College resorted to road blockade in protest against the alleged assault on an advocate by the police.The students gathered at the traffic junction at Kuralagam and raised slogans condemning the alleged assault of advocate Venkatraman and demanded action against those involved. Theft at MuttukaduBurglars broke into a bunk shop and decamped with cash and articles at Muttukadu on Tuesday. Police sources said Devan of Muttukadu on ECR, ran a shop in which he sold soft drinks and tobacco products. When he opened shop on Wednesday, he found `15,000, cigarette packet bundles and other articles worth `1,000, stolen.
