A porn addict alcoholic man allegedly killed his 12-year-old daughter for resisting rape in Telangana, police said. He even filed a missing complaint against his daughter to misguid the police.
The man’s family had moved to Miyapur in Hyderabad from the Mahubabad district of Telangana a fortnight ago. On June 7, the 12-year-old girl said she wanted to return to Mahbubabad, therefore, her father picked her up from a local grocery store at around 10:00 am saying he would take her to her mother, police noted.
The accused was caught on CCTV camera parking his vehicle in an isolated area and taking his daughter inside a forest where he allegedly tried to rape her.
According to a report in The Hindu, police said that the accused, reportedly a porn addict, allegedly wanted to enact a scene with his daughter. The girl, however, screamed and threatened to tell her mother.
According to Miyapur police, the man pushed her daughter to the ground due to which she suffered injuries and started bleeding. He then proceeded to hit her with a stone and left her to die.
Eleven minutes later, the accused came back to check if the girl was dead. He then went home and changed his red shirt with a white one and told his wife that their daughter was missing.
He then filed a missing complaint with the police the same day, requesting the cops to find his daughter.
On June 13, a decomposed body was found in the forest in Miyapur. Police began a probe into the case and scoured the CCTV footage which showed the man entering the forest with his daughter and leaving alone.
Upon investigation, the accused confessed to killing his daughter and was later arrested.
ACP Narasimha Rao noted that the man had confessed to killing his daughter to an elder in his native tribal habitat and had been advised to surrender, at around the same time the police had suspected his role in the killing of his daughter.
