Ahead of participating in a public rally at Karnataka on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met a fruit seller Mohini Gowda in Sirsi, Uttara Kannada district.
The fruit seller, who sells fruits wrapped in leaves at Ankola Bus Stand is known for her unique trait of picking up and disposing the leaves in the dustbin incase her customers throw them on the streets after eating fruits.
The woman was praised by Prime Minister Modi for the good work that she has been doing.
The Prime Minister addressed a Lok Sabha election campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Karnataka’s Bagalkote on Monday. He is scheduled to go to Maharashtra’s Pune, where he will canvass for four Mahayuti candidates at the city’s Racecourse in the evening.
While addressing the rally, PM Modi accused the Congress of planning religion-based reservation in the country for the sake of vote bank politics, but asserted that he will not let it happen. He also said this Congress proposal is to appease minorities as the SC/ST and OBC community is now with the BJP.
