KOZHIKODE: CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan has said the controversial statements made by Achuthanandan would be discussed in party forums and appropriate action would follow.“These statements have to be discussed in party forums. It would be discussed and appropriate action would be taken. No responsible leader who holds respective positions in the party should comment on this issue till then. It’s a request,” he said.He added that at present, the party has to focus on two major issues.“One is the Neyyatinkara byelections. The UDF is going to suffer a big setback in the election and the LDF should work hard to ensure that. The other is the massive attack launched against the CPM from various quarters. Party workers and leaders should remain vigilant against these attacks,” he said.He alleged that the UDF was intervening in the ongoing probe into the murder of the RMP leader.“From the very statement of Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan that the murder was political, it has become clear that the police investigation is biased and the UDF is intervening in it,” he said.
