KOCHI: Rajesh Pillai, the man who wielded the megaphone for Jose Prakash’s last movie ‘Traffic’, considers the actor one of the legends of Malayalam movie industry. “I still remember the day when we planned to shoot his scenes. The shooting was scheduled to start by 6 am. Jose Prakash sir woke up by around 4 am and was ready by 6. But the rest of the crew were ready only by 7 am. He got irritated and told me that for filmmakers ‘punctuality’ should be the key word. His sincerity towards the profession was evident in his words. But, I explained to him that the delay was not intentional and he calmed down,” Rajesh Pillai told ‘Express’.Pillai said though his health was deteriorating, the veteran showed great enthusiasm during the shoot. “After each shot, he used to ask me, ‘Hey director, are you happy?’. I consider it as one of the greatest moments in my life. His demise is definitely a great loss to the industry,” Pillai added.
