TUMKUR: Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy said here on Wednesday that he will expose the nexus between the Jantakal mining company and an official who misinformed the Lokayukata to fix him in the illegal mining scam.He indirectly gave a call to his party workers not to get discouraged by his name being figured in the illegal mining scam in the Lokayukta report on illegal mining.“Do not worry thinking that I too would be jailed. Since I have done nothing wrong I will come out clean very soon”, he addressed his party workers.Addressing the JD(S) youth wing rally at the district library premises, he claimed that an official’s false note on the illegal mining lease was responsible for his name being figured in the Lokayukta report following which he was issued with a court summons.“I will expose the official with the documents and his nexus with the company,” he asserted to his audience.“The official had noted wrongly that I telephoned to give permission to lift the ore, which is untrue, and it was all part of conspiracy to snub me. I knew the hands which worked in connivance with the official”, he explained. On his wife Anitha Kumaraswamy too being summoned in connection with the Vishwabharathi Housing Co-operative Society Scam, he clarified that the site was sanctioned to his wife long ago in 1974 but not as reported as during his tenure as CM. “Did my wife do wrong by surrendering the site back?” Earlier, HDK was taken in a bike rally from Batawadi Circle to the venue.
