The Board of Intermediate Education on Wednesday announced the due dates for payment of examination fee by first-year regular (general and vocational courses) students and attendance exemption granted private candidates (without college study) to appear for the ensuing first-year Intermediate Public Examinations to be held in March 2013.
There will be no further extension of time for payment of fee. The last date for payment of examination fee for first-year students is October 26 without late fee and November 3 with a late fee of Rs 100.
The cost of examination application form is ` 10. The examination fee for general courses is ` 240 and for vocational courses it is Rs 340 (Rs 100 for practicals). The examination fee for vocational bridge course subjects is ` 60.
Candidates appearing for first-year vocational backlog practicals have to pay Rs 100 and those (BiPC) appearing for bridge course examination in mathematics have to pay Rs 60.
According to a press release on Wednesday, the above mentioned due dates are applicable for both general and vocational students and attendance exempted private candidates for humanities (without college study) and also candidates who wish to appear with change of group.
Principals of government junior colleges have been asked to accept examination application forms along with examination fee paid online in respect of private candidates (without college study) after thorough scrutiny and after satisfying about their eligibility to appear for the examinations and submit their NRs along with regular candidates.
The examination fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted in case a candidate is found to be not eligible to appear for Intermediate Public Examinations, March 2013.
Candidates who passed SSC or its equivalent from a board/university of other state have to obtain Eligibility Certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education, AP, Hyderabad.
All private candidates who have submitted their applications for exemption from attendance (without college study) have to answer the papers on par with the syllabus prescribed for the regular students. Those who fail to pay the fee even with penalty should invariably apply for Tatkal scheme which will be announced in due course.
