NIA Arrests Hyderabad ISIS Module Chief, Fund Raiser
Both the arrested accused will be produced before the NIA Special Court where the NIA is seeking their police custody.

The National Investigation Agency on Tuesday arrested the chief of ISIS module in Hyderabad and another man in connection with the ongoing investigation regarding a terror conspiracy case in which 13 people were picked up on June 29.

Athaullah Rehman, the chief of the Hyderabad ISIS module has been accused of participating in conspiracy meetings and radicalising group members and his partner Yasir Niamatullah, the Amir of the group, has been accused of raising funds for terror related activities.

Rehman, a resident of Hyderabad also administered the oath of Bayah to the group - oath of allegiance - to the Khalifa- Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, the leader of the dreaded terrorist group ISIS.

Both the arrested accused will be produced before the NIA Special Court where the NIA is seeking their police custody.

The late night operation on June 29 at several places in Hyderabad, was conducted by teams of NIA from Hyderabad and Karnataka, and assisted by the Hyderabad Police after which investigations revealed that the men were planning to trigger blasts at famous places across the city.
