Mumbai: The 10th Mumbai International Film Festival had many a film enthusiast lining up eagerly to catch up on interesting documentaries from all over the world.
The inauguration ceremony kickstarted with some politically-correct words and a light of glamour as actress Vidya Balan made her way right to the stage.
“I haven't watched any of the films but it’s wonderful to be a part of it. If my coming here is going to make this much of a difference then I'd like to support it,” she said.
This seven-day affair that began Sunday and will go on till February 9 and will showcase documentaries, short films and animation films from all over the world in various theaters at The National Centre Of The Performing Arts in Mumbai.
The fest began with international films like Infinity, Our time is up and The Mother's Home.
The festival also offers filmmakers and film buffs the experience to watch films and interact at a global level and a special retrospective package of documentaries dedicated to the Second World War.
