BJP stalwart Narendra Modi and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will address election rallies in Chhattisgarh's Naxal-affected Kondagaon district in the next few days.
While the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate will address the rally at Kondagaon on March 28, Rahul's public meeting is scheduled on March 31.
Kondgaon is part of Bastar Lok Sabha seat which goes to the polls on April 10, when the first phase of voting will take place in Chhattisgarh.
"Modi will address the people of both Bastar and Kanker Parliamentary constituencies at Kondagaon Stadium Grounds on Friday," BJP said in a statement in Raipur on Wednesday.
According to sources, the party has also drawn schedule for senior leaders like L K Advani and Rajnath Singh.
Meanwhile, State Congress spokesperson Mahendra Chhabra said, "Rahul Gandhi will address a public meeting in Kondagaon on March 31."
Chhattisgarh will see a three-phase polling for its 11 Lok Sabha constituencies. Naxal-hit Bastar (ST) will vote on April 10, while three other Maoist-affected constituencies - Mahasamund, Kanker (ST) and Rajnandgaon will go to polls on April 17.
The remaining seven Lok Sabha seats - Surguja, Raigarh (both ST), Janjgir-Champa (SC), Raipur, Durg, Korba and Bilaspur will see polling on April 24.
