BANGALORE: Former CM B S Yeddyurappa was grilled by Lokayukta sleuths for more than an hour in connection with his alleged involvement in the Upper Bhadra Irrigation Project scam, on Wednesday.Following a court directive that he has to appear before the Lokayukta police to cooperate with the investigation, Yeddyurappa was summoned by the anti-corruption agency.A source in the Lokayukta office informed that the former CM was accompanied by his advocate and Yelahanka MLA S R Vishwanath. “Yeddyurappa came to Lokayukta office at 10.55 am and was questioned till 12 noon. Lokayukta DSP S Girish interrogated the tainted ex-CM in the presence of Lokayukta ADGP Jeevan Kumar Gaonkar,” the source said.“The officer quipped the former CM and he were made to face around 50 questions, which were also based on documents recovered during recent raids on the houses and offices of Yeddyurappa and his sons and son-in-law. Yeddyurappa feigned ignorance to most of the questions,” the source added.
