Loadshedding continued in the state on Wednesday, with only a portion of the power supply from other states being restored by evening.
A KSEB spokesperson said 800 MW of the central pool supply was restored by evening, but the state was facing problem in procuring power through the power exchange or private traders.
The KSEB had scheduled an additional 150 MW from the NTPC’s Combined Cycle Power Project at Kayamkulam, taking the total procurement from here to 300 MW. This continued on Wednesday to make up for the shortage.
