Bantilal Sah, 70, of Basantpur Utri village in Muzaffarpur district died of cardiac arrest on Thursday after news flashed that Lalu Prasad had been jailed in the fodder scam, a fellow villager said.
"He was watching TV and suddenly collapsed and died," villager Vijay Kumar Singh said. Sah had returned to his village on Thursday after meeting Lalu Prasad in Ranchi.
Elsewhere, Rama Rai, 50, a resident of Datra Pursauli village in Saran district, has been on hunger strike since Monday, said villager Maheshwar Choudhary.
