Kavitha warns government

HYDERABAD: Telangana Jagruthi president K Kavitha has appealed to the government to shelve the project of re-installation of the damaged statues on the Tank Bund and warned that otherwise it will have to face stiff opposition and resistance from Telangana people. “The state government is biased in allowing the statues of persons who have nothing to do with Telangana. They are forcing a culture which has no relevance to the region. The personalities, whose statues were damaged during the Million March on March 10, are in no way connected to Telangana nor have done anything good for the Telangana people,’’ she said.
