Kolar: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda said that he has written an “examination”, the results of which he is awaiting from the BJP high command. Addressing the media prior to attending the Shaalegaagi Naavu Neevu programme here on Thursday, the CM said that he will abide by any decision taken by the high command, while adding as an afterthought that it will take into consideration all aspects of the issue. Gowda added that the party leadership has collected details which have highlighted the pro-people programmes undertaken by him.
The reason for the recently political developments is that some of the leaders not received any position in the party which lead to the issue, said Gowda. A twinge of nostalgia was observable in his speech. “I am satisfied with my journey in politics, which has had humble beginnings at the village level. I have performed my duties as an MP, state party president and CM satisfactorily, without giving leeway for corruption,” Gowda articulated.
On the reason for the melange of problems facing the party, the Chief Minister replied: “Problems in politics is as recurrent as the tide; it can be sorted out amicably." The CM said that his government his encountered many problems in the last eleven months, most notably the prevailing drought. He added that the administration has identified the drought-prone taluks, and released sufficient grants to tackle the situation on a warfooting.
Promise on Water Projects
Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda on Thursday said that Ettinahole and Yergol projects would be completed soon to solve the drinking water crisis in Kolar and Chikballapur districts. “As I am aware of the problems of the district, I will accord top priority to solving them. Meetings with officials and water experts have been held,” he said.
