New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya, who were arrested on sedition charges, were on Tuesday sent to 14 days in judicial custody. They are slated to be taken to Tihar jail.

Earlier on Tuesday, Delhi Police had questioned another JNU student Ashutosh along with Umar and Anirban.

This comes even as the Delhi Police has now done a U-turn in the case, saying they have no evidence of JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar raising anti-India slogans.

Delhi High Court has reserved order on Kanhaiya's bail plea till Wednesday.
