Its time for Christmas carols!

HYDERABAD: The Tabernacles,a Gospel singing group well known in the twin cities, will present their 44th Annual Christmas Concert at Rail Kalarang, Bhoiguda at 6:30 pm on December 3.The Conductor Kenneth V. Gibson will lead the Group and will present western classical carols by Mozart, Beethoven, Hyden and other contemporary Christmas carols during this concert. The entry to the concert is free. Seating is based on first-come-first-serve-basis.The media convener for Tabernacles, Frederick Michael explained that the choir members are chosen from different belief denominations, including Catholics and Protestants of various churches from the Twin cities. A 30-member choir will render carols in parts (saprono, tenor, alto and bass) in Western and Contemporary style.The choir will be accompanied with instruments such as first violin, second violin, double bass, piano etc.  They have also performed for the Christmas programmes of the state government. Rhoda Vijaya, secretary, The Tabernacles said that every year the group will donate the proceeds of the concert to a charitable organisation and this year it will go towards cancer patients of “Pain Relief and Palliative Care Society.”
