IAF's Jaguar aircraft crashes near Allahabad, court of inquiry ordered
The IAF has ordered a court of inquiry into the crash.

Allahabad: In an unfortunate incident, an Indian Air Force's Jaguar fighter aircraft has crashed 18 kms away from Allahabad. Both the pilots had ejected before the crash, said IAF officials, adding efforts were on to find them.

The crash took place around 8:50 am on Tuesday. It took off from Allahabad at 7:25 am on a training sortie. The pilot ejected out of the aircraft at 8:47 am.

The IAF has ordered a court of inquiry into the crash.

In March, another Jaguar aircraft had crashed in agricultural fields near Shahbad town in Haryana with the pilot ejecting safely from the plane.
