GTalk bug: How to check if your Google Talk messages reached someone it shouldn't have
It is prudent to check if you are also a victim of the Google Talk privacy bug.

Update Google says, "the issue has been resolved and all services are gradually returning to normal."

New Delhi: Google says it is investigating into the Google Talk (GTalk) issue where messages are being sent to unintended receipients.

While this is fixed, we recommend that you shouldn't share anything on Google Talk (or Hangouts) that you wouldn't want a third person to see but it is prudent to check if you are also a victim of this bug.

Log in to Gmail, click on the 'Chats' link from the menu. This will display a list of all your recorded chats and scan the list to find if there are any unintended chats listed there.

This process will work only for chats that are not 'off the record', a Google Talk setting that prevents chats being saved in the users' accounts.
