The security personnel deployed outside the residence were seen politely turning away visitors, including media persons.
A number of electronic news channels reporters and crew were seen standing outside the house.
The state unit of the RJD office also wore a deserted look with only a handful of party workers.
Lalu Prasad and 44 others were on Monday convicted by a special CBI court in Ranchi for fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 37.7 crore from Chaibasa treasury.
