CHENNAI: The Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwarya Vishwa Vidyalaya initiated a four-day jyotirlingas darshan at Chinnasamy kalyanamandapam, near Golden Flats, Mogappair yesterday.V Moorthy, Minister for Milk and Dairy Development, inaugurated the darshan in the presence of senior Brahma Kumari member Kalavathi.At the kalyanamandapam, the 12 jyotirlingas from across the country, have been displayed for visitors. Brahma Kumaris, through this darshan, have recreated the 12 jyotirlingas --Somnath jyotirling in Saurashtra, Mallikarjun jyotirling in Srisailam, Mahakaleshwar jyotirling in Ujjain, Omkareshwar jyotirling in Shivpuri/Maleswara, Vaidyanath jyotirling in Parali, Nageswar jyotirling in Darukavanam, Kedareswar jyotirling in Kedarnath/Himalayas, Tryambakeswar jyotirling in Nasik, Rameshwar jyotirling in Setubandanam/Rameshwaram, Bhimashankar jyotirling in Dakini, Visweswar jyotirling in Varanasi and Ghrishneswar jyotirling in Devasrovar-- for the benefit of devotees.Besides, the organisers have also planned a live show of the goddesses each morning at 6am on darshan days. After visiting the jyotirlingas, Moorthy congratulated the Brahma Kumaris for their selfless service to society.Darshan will be available from 8 am till 8 pm everyday and for the benefit of devotees, a meditation room has also been set up at the mandapam.
