First look: Henry Cavill looks impressive as Superman in 'Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice'

The first look of Henry Cavill in Superman costume in 'Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice' was released on Twitter. The Superman's look has been released nearly two months after director Zack Snyder tweeted the first look of Ben Affleck as Batman.

The picture shows Henry wearing his signature blue suit and red cape. The new super-suit worn by actor Henry Cavill for 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' still lacks the red undies.

'Dawn of Justice' is slated to release in the US on May 6, 2016. Zack Snyder is back as a director while Henry Cavill reprises his role as Superman and Amy Adams returns as Lois Lane. Ben Affleck is tapped as the Caped Crusader, while Gal Gadot is cast as Wonder Woman.
