Vladimir Vukicevic, a software developer at Mozilla, revealed an early build of Firefox for Android, also referred to as Fennec.

Mozilla has been making progress in its efforts to bring its popular web browser Firefox to Google's open-source Android operating system.

Vukicevic states in his blog post that the browser has been tested only on the Motorola Droid and the Nexus One and there are some bugs that could stop the phone from responding.

To try out this early build users would need Android 2.0 and an OpenGL ES 2.0 capable device.

The pre-alpha build of Fennec includes an experimental version of Weave, that synchronises bookmarks and tabs across multiple browsers.
