In an effort to promote entrepreneurship and innovation among students, the state government will put in place a landmark Student Entrepreneurship Policy in Kerala. “Any student who works to create knowledge, innovation, wealth and jobs in our society at or through any Government of India recognised Incubators will be given 20 per cent attendance and four per cent grace marks in the academic course,” said the Chief Minister at the inauguration of the ‘Emerging Kerala’ investors’ meet at the Le Meridien Convention Centre here. “This will give students time to pursue entrepreneurship and innovation during their studies and unleash the intellectual power of the youngsters towards entrepreneurship. To emerge as a strong and vibrant economy, Kerala has to emerge from within and empower our talented youngsters to be job-creators and not job-seekers,” he said.
