Efforts on to rope in Sreedharan: Chandy

KOCHI: Chief Minister Oommen chandy said that the state will make all efforts to avail the service and expertise of E Sreedharan, Chairman, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for the Kochi Metro Rail Project. A detailed discussion will be held for the same.Speaking to reporters in Kochi, the CM said he does not think that the DMRC chief will be against getting involved in the Kochi Metro project. He is already a member of the Planning Commission of the state. Apart from the metro, the state needs his services for the high speed corridor project. The state will fully utilise the services of Sreedharan for infrastructural development in the state, Chandy said.
