THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Dental College PG students who are on an indefinite strike demanding a hike in stipend for making it equivalent to that of medical students, have withdrawn their strike.The decision was in response to the announcement made by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy that the dental stipend would be increased and made equivalent to that of the medical students.The students whose hunger strike entered the third day on Thursday, have been shifted to the Medical College Hospital here. The students represented the three dental colleges of Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam and Kozhikode.
