CUEO stages protest

The Confederation of University Employees Organisations (CUEO), on Wednesday staged a protest on the Kerala University premises in protest against the move to cut down their benefits.  Koliakode Krishnan Nair MLA, inaugurated the protest on the university premises.   CUEO secretary said that there was a move to cut down the benefits that the university employees were getting on par with the Secretariat employees.  He said that the recommendations of the Pay Commission were against the employees. The CUEO also demanded more financial assistance to the Universities.
