The commotion was a sight of horror for everyone there. Law and order seemed to be slipping between our fingers and as law bearers, we tried our best to stop the commotion. In the stone pelting that ensued, I was hit on my head, chest and shoulder by many big stones that were thrown from the court building,” he said, looking a bit shaken. “I felt utterly sad and distressed to see my fellow colleagues and constables being beaten up. My courage was still not damaged, but even we have a family. It was a very irresponsible behaviour,” he explained. At the same hospital lies another injured cop with four stitches on his head.
