Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, while informing this in the Assembly in reply to a call attention notice raised by Congress member N Sampangi on providing adequate medical facilities, said that the legislation would be introduced in next session. “The government had recruited about 600 doctors with specialisation three years ago, most of whom shied away from rural areas. As many as 1,200 doctors recruited earlier failed to remain in village and taluk levels,” he said.
