New Delhi: This is an app that many secretly desire. In this age of social networks, when you are connected with people you like and also those you wouldn't want to bump into in real life, the Cloak app is designed to keep you away from unwanted real-life meetings.

The app is currently available only for iOS. It warns you about whereabouts of people on your Instagram and Foursquare so that you could easily avoid running into them.

Currently, the app lets you connect with your Foursquare and Instagram accounts, with more networks including Facebook and Twitter to be integrated soon, says the company.

"Cloak then plots where your Foursquare and Instagram contacts are, according to their most recent check-ins. You can casually check the map, or - for exes, chatty neighbors and other undesirables - "flag" them to receive an alert when they pass within a preset radius," reports The Washington Post.

The app has been developed by programmer Brian Moore and former Buzzfeed creative director Chris Baker.
