City-based student conferred with TCS award

CHENNAI: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has conferred the Best Student Award on K Ishwarya Meenakshi, a final year Computer Science Engineering student of Easwari Engineering College, Chennai. A Srinivasan, Vice President of TCS Delivery Excellence Group presented the award to Ishwarya during a function held at the college campus on Wednesday.She was selected for the award for her proficiency in academics and all-round excellence in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Dr R Shivakumar, chairman of the SRM Group of Institutions (Ramapuram and Trichy campuses), congratulated the awardee and urged the students to emulate her in the years to come. He lauded Ishwarya for winning the prestigious award and said she had been evaluated in 13 categories for her consistent performance before being selected for the award.
