BANGALORE: Tanzanian Student Association of Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies organised a fourth Tanzanian Cultural Exhibition at Acharya Institutes  campus recently.  The students from Tanzania showcased the exhibition by putting up stalls that included the country’s geography, culture, tradition, the food, the standard of living, the way of dressing, dancing and also the wildlife of the country. The food items included like dried Choya, dried pumpkin leaves, the traditional coffee powder, the sea shells, leather items, crafts, etc. Other attraction of the event was the poster presentation, which narrated  food habits, wild life, political system, economic condition and the life style of Tanzania. The dance performance was also held at the event that included three genres of traditional Tanzanian dance namely the dance from coastal region of Kenya, Zanziba and the East African region. Anisha Nongrum, a student opined, “It is very happy to be a part of Tanzanian culture and tradition. I wish to visit Tanzanian once  in life time.” Expressing her views about the event, Diana, a Tanzanian student, said, “We, Tanzanians are happy to exhibit our culture and tradition. It is glad to see that students and teachers being a part of our culture.”
