The Indo-Pak duo lost in straight sets to Lindstedt and Nieminen.
Mumbai: Rohan Bopanna and Asiam-ul Qureshi lost to the Robert Lindstedt (Sweden) and Jarkko Niemenen (Finland) in the doubles finals of the $416,000 Kingfisher Airlines Open 2007 on Sunday in Mumbai.
The Indo-Pak duo lost in straight sets to the third-seeded pair of Lindstedt and Nieminen. Both the sets were closely fought and went till the tiebreaker.
After losing the first set 6-7, Bopanna and Qureshi fought well in the second but failed to win the crucial points.
The Kingfisher Airlines Open was Bopanna and Qureshi's first ATP tournament together.
Lindstedt and Nieminen received $20,250 and 175 points while Bopanna and Qureshi got $11,550 and 120 points.
Bopanna and Qureshi have won four Challenger titles in July and August.
