New Delhi: 10:05 am: BJP is leading in all 7 seats in Delhi. Dr Harsh Vardhan takes a lead by 3508 votes. Maheish Girri by 12201 votes, Meenakashi Lekhi by 8982 votes, Manoj Tiwari by 10712 votes, Udit Raj by 13005 votes. Ramesh Bidhuri by 4402 votes, Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma by 30015 votes.
9:30 am: AAP's Rakhi Birla takes a lead in the North-West Delhi seat.
9:25 am: The BJP leading in 6 out of 7 seats in Delhi.
9:18 am: The BJP is leading in 4 out of 7 seats in Delhi, while the AAP is leading in one seat.
8:52 am: BJP's Harsh Vardhan leading in the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency.
Counting is underway in Delhi amidst elaborate security arrangements at the seven centres, housing over 20,000 EVMs. The national capital has a total of seven parliamentary constituencies.
While the Congress had won all the seven seats in 2009 Lok Sabha polls, the exit polls have predicted 5 to 7 seats for BJP this time.
Over 20,000 EVMs, which hold the fate of 150 candidates in Lok Sabha polls, have been kept under high security in strong rooms at seven centres across the city. Delhi registered a high voter turnout of 65.09 per cent in the Lok Sabha polls held on April 10.
